How it works

The 9 rules

The numbers below are the ones the keeper actually runs with, read live from it.

Nine lives

Every token on 9 Lives is a cat with 9 lives, born the moment it launches. Its look comes from its address: no two cats are the same.

A bowl of its own

The platform's share of every trade goes into that cat's bowl, not a shared treasury. 60% of it stays with the cat.

Lands on its feet

When the price falls 35% from its high, 50% of the bowl buys the token back and burns it. Each fall costs one life.

No farming the fall

At most one fall every 2h. The buyback comes at a random moment 1 min–8 min after the drop, and only if the price is still down.

Cats must eat

A cat that takes in less than 0.010 SOL of trading fees in a day (≈1.0 SOL of volume) goes hungry and loses a life.

Mama

The first cat, launched by the dev wallet, is Mama. 20% of every bowl's feed goes to her.

The rainbow bridge

Out of lives, the cat's whole bowl is sent to its holders, pro rata, straight to their wallets. The snapshot is taken at a random moment within 1h.

The windowsill

At 85 SOL the curve graduates to a Meteora DAMM v2 pool, LP locked forever. The cat keeps its lives and its bowl and keeps eating LP fees.

Every claim, buyback, burn and payout is public in the bowl log, each with its transaction.

The 0.02 SOL launch fee

Paid once when a cat is launched. It is the first food in its bowl. After graduation, the platform's half of the locked LP keeps earning fees into the same bowl.
